Dedicated to the memory of David Tubb

This site is a tribute to David John Tubb, 82, of Horsham, West Sussex, he passed away on 24th April 2020 in East Surrey Hospital with his three daughters by his side.
David was born to parents George and Irene Tubb, on 26th October 1937 in Surrey. He had two brothers,  Brian and Colin, and three sisters, Christine, Maureen and Irene. At the age of 22 David married his beautiful Jean Phelan on September 3rd 1960 in Wimbledon. In 1963 they had their first daughter, Deborah, followed by Lorraine in 1966 and their youngest, Louise, was born in 1974.
Sadly David and his girls lost Jean in 1995 to cancer.

From 1989 to 2002 David’s 9 Grandchildren were all born.  He loved being with his grandchildren and was incredibly proud of each of them.
David was over the moon to have his first great grandson whom he loved dearly.

For the last 10 years of David’s life he was  blessed to have a second chance at love with Brenda.  She quickly became a part of the family and David and Brenda became inseperable and they have many cherished memories together.

David was predeceased by both his parents, his wife Jean, his brothers, Brian and Colin and his sister Christine.

David will be greatly missed but never forgotten.  He was a wonderful, generous, loving family man, the kindest and gentlest father.  Our love for him will live on in our memories forever.

A graveside service is scheduled for 27th May at 11.30am at Hills cemetry, Horsham,  this will be attended by his immediate family only.  Nico Ohlsson will officiate the ceremony. The family have requested family flowers only, however, donations in memory of David may be made to The Rainbow Trust or The Stroke Association.

Unfortunately at this time there will not be a reception following the service, but when possible a Thanks  Giving service will be organised.
